- Missing Persons Clearinghouse 2013 Annual Report (5/2014)
  The number of children reported missing in New York State decreased 7.1 percent, from 21,656 to 20,124; the vast majority of those reported missing are runaways: 19,095 in 2013. A total of 2,951 cases remained open at the end of 2013; that includes missing children cases from last year or years prior that have not yet been resolved.
