  • Uninterruptible Power Source

Install and Upgrade Files
Please note: In the event that you need to roll back from SJS 8.0 to an older SJS 7.x version, all data after the migration will need to be re-entered.

New Installs
New agencies installing SJS for first time on 64-bit Windows 7 download the following:

SJS 8.0 for 64-bit Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022

Minimum System Requirements:

  • 64-bit Windows Server 2008/2012 operating system
  • 2-4 Core processor
  • 8.0 Gigabyte of RAM
  • 200 Gigabyte Hard Disk Drive
  • 2 MB Video Card
  • Ethernet NIC Card
  • 17" (or larger) Monitor
  • HP Compatible Laser Printer
  • Uninterruptible Power Source

Install and Upgrade Files
Please note: Once upgraded to SJS 8.0, in the event there is a need to roll back to old SJS 7.x version, any data entered in SJS 8.0 will need to be re-entered.

Save these files to your local PC by RIGHT-clicking each and selecting "Save Target As” and then select the location on your PC where you want to save the files.

SJS Patches


To install a patch:

  1. Create a SJS backup by running the SJS Cold Backup batch as administrator.
  2. Download the targeted patch file(s) to your local SJS Server by RIGHT-clicking each and selecting "Save Target As". Select the location on your PC where you want to save the files.
  3. Wait for the SJS backup (step 1) to finish before continuing
  4. Extract the zip file and then navigate to folder with *.bat file.
  5. In the Task Manager stop Apache Tomcat service
  6. Run the *.bat file by double clicking it. Check the output log for Success/errors.
  7. In the Task Manager start Apache Tomcat service

Available Patches

  • IBR Edits (684, 762, 1058)

    IBR Edit 684 has IBR Codes 720, 90Z and 999 added
    IBR Edit 762 has IBR Codes 90Z and 999 added
    IBR Edit 1058 is deleted

  • Angelica Town Court Duplicate Fix

    Within an Arrest on the “Arrest Detail” tab is a Court Code dropdown. Fixes the duplicate “ANGELICA TOWN COURT” by renaming incorrect entry to “ANGELICA VILLAGE COURT” for ORI NY002141J.
