| Comments: | Currently, about 30 counties statewide participate in an "Aid to Prosecution Program" which provides funds to prosecutors to assist in prosecuting particular types of cases. Through these funds the program attempts to improve the effectiveness of the prosecution of these cases. The types of cases processed with these funds may differ by county. The "Target Crime Initiative" was a similar program that is no longer being funded. |
