Tables / Codes: 1 - DEAD - The victim was killed by a perpetrator.
2 - APPEARED TO BE SERIOUSLY PHYSICALLY INJURED - "Serious physical injury" means physical injury that creates a substantial risk of death, or which causes death or serious or protracted disfigurement, protracted impairment of health or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily organ. (New York State Penal Law Art. 10.00, Subsection 10).
3 - APPEARED TO BE PHYSICALLY INJURED - "Physical injury" means impairment of physical condition or substantial pain. (New York State Penal Law Art. 10.00, Subsection 9).
4 - NOT INJURED - The report indicates that the victim did not appear to be physically injured in the incident.
